Internal Transfer (Based on GPA)

(1) In accordance with the “Regulation on the Principles of Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfers”; According to the general grade point average and the central placement score (Additional item 1), horizontal transfers can be made within the institution. 

(2) Students with ÖSYS scholarship and ÖSYS discount (75% ÖSYS Discount, 50% ÖSYS Discount and 25% ÖSYS Discount ) are deemed to have waived their scholarships/discounts when they transfer within the institution .

 (3) In admission to the program for which internal transfer is desired; The scores of the student's placement year and the points applied in the placement process to higher education institutions of that year, the types of points, and the order of success, if any, are taken into account. 

(4) Students who meet the success order requirement can apply to the departments/programs whose success order is sought in the ÖSYS Guide in the relevant year. 

(5) In the transition to programs with special conditions in the ÖSYS Guide, students must meet these conditions, among other conditions.

 (6) Intra-institutional transfer applications can only be made according to the general grade point average for the programs that accept students with a special talent exam, and cannot be applied for internal transfer according to the central placement score. 

(7) Having frozen the registration or not being able to renew the registration does not constitute an obstacle to benefit from the right of horizontal transfer.

(1) Students who have studied at least one semester in their higher education program, excluding the foreign language preparatory class, can apply for a horizontal transfer within the institution.

(2) Applicants for internal transfer from programs in which the language of instruction is Turkish to programs with a compulsory foreign language class must be successful in the foreign language proficiency exam to be held by OSTİM Technical University or have received a score at the level of success determined in the national or internationally valid foreign language exams. . The application of the candidates who do not meet the foreign language proficiency will be deemed invalid.

(3) Intra-institutional transfers can be made in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th semesters in programs that provide a four-year undergraduate degree, and in the 2nd and 3rd semesters in programs that offer associate degrees.

(4) The central placement score obtained in the score type of the program to which the student wishes to transfer must not be less than the lowest base score of other universities in the country. In lateral transfers to the department that accepts students with different grades, the score that ÖSYM takes as a basis for placement is taken into account.

(5) GPA must be at least 1.00 out of 4.00 for undergraduate and associate degree programs.

(6) Must be successful in the common compulsory courses in the curriculum of the department/program they want to pass.

(7) In addition to other requirements, the condition of being successful in the aptitude test is sought for in-house lateral transfers to the programs that admit students with a special talent exam.

(8) From associate degree programs to undergraduate programs; Internal transfers cannot be made from undergraduate programs to associate degree programs based on the grade point average.
